Founded in 1946, the Florida Scholastic Press Association is comprised of more than 300 student publications, online media teams and broadcast programs throughout the state. The primary aim of this organization is to educate, train and support scholastic journalists and their advisers.

The Columbia Scholastic Press Association, organized at Columbia in the fall of 1924, has seen more than 125,000 newspapers, magazines, and yearbooks have enter the annual critiques for evaluations and more than 240,000 delegates attend the annual conventions.
Since 1974, the Student Press Law Center has been the nation’s only legal assistance agency devoted exclusively to educating high school and college journalists about the rights and responsibilities embodied in the First Amendment. The Center provides free legal advice and information as well as low-cost educational materials for student journalists on a wide variety of legal topics.
Adobe is the provider of many of the tools used by today’s yearbook staff. Whether you use InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or another of their industry standard products, Adobe.com is a great resource for tips, instruction, and plugins.

Spin was developed to assist not only in the training of yearbook students, but also with the preparation of lesson plans. It features PDF postcards and files for download.
